DFW Pride Movement would like to raise awareness of HIV/STDs and discuss factors contributing to the high rates in the Black LGBT community, and develop action steps to decrease the rate of transmission through prevention, intervention and community collaboration. We aim to bring together health officials, community workers, community members and leadership in the Black LGBT community to address and seek solutions for change within this heavily impacted community.

First impressions can make or break a job interview.  In today’s tough economy, serious jobseekers need to have the advantage.  Join Jones 2000 and Certified Human Resources Director Theresa Anding as they share helpful information to landing the right job and provide insight to what hiring officials are looking for in potential employees.

The Dallas/Ft. Worth Community is bleeding from within!  Let’s discuss those aliments that are plaguing our community and what we can collectively do to purge the community and move forward to holistically healing the wound and stopping the spread of infection.

8:00PM – 11:00PM – Dallas Black Pride Concert -N- Comedy Show

Hosted by Comedian PT Dupree

Where: The Westin City Center, Cambridge Ballroom

Join Dallas’ own Comedian PT Dupree and nationally known celebrity comedian Anastasia “The Bold” Bolden and D. Ellis aka Mr. Entertainment along with other local comedians as they help kickoff the 15 Year Celebration of Dallas Black Pride with laughter.  Also, we’re bringing Hollywood to Dallas with the musical talents of national recording artist Lamont Wheat.  But that’s not all, also taking the stage are some of the nation’s finest Gay and Lesbian singers and rappers from across the country.

Lastly but not least, Dallas’ own Kennedy Davenport along a few of her female and male illusionist friends will set the ballroom ablaze with amazing concert renditions from the world’s most amazingly talented musical superstars.  BABY YOU DON’T WANT TO MISS IT!!!!
